Restored, Finished Barrel Table Base

Authentic, used barrels arrive to us by the truckload from various distilleries (some brand names, like Heaven Hill, Wild Turkey, and Four Roses). These barrels are made from solid white American oak. Oak is naturally a very durable, premium hardwood. Not only the perfect wood for imparting flavor into the whiskey, but an exceptional wood to transform into furniture.

Oak Table Tops

The table tops are made from Pennsylvania Red Oak. Just as with the barrels, this oak is a premium hardwood with stunning wood grain. Amish woodworkers handcraft each table top from rough cut lumber into raw wood table tops while not using any electrical tools. They are then professionally stained and then receive a polyurethane coat in commercial-grade to provide a robust protective coating that also enhances the beauty of the wood.

Personalized Engraving

To truly personalize your pub table we have the option to engrave your barrel. You can either pick from one of our 12 standard designs or send us your own design. It will be burned and painted black for nice contrast with the stained wood to transform your table into a timeless family heirloom.

Amish Crafted and Welded Footrails

These metal footrails are powder coated with a robust exterior coating instead of paint which will just peel and chip overtime. They give your feet an extra place to rest enhancing the comfort for you and your guests while adding a nice aesthetic appeal to your table. They are available at either counter-height (36” tall table) or bar-height (42” tall table).

Table Dimensions

For height of the table, if there are no accessories or if you go with the counter-height footrail, the table is 36 inches tall from floor to the top of the table top. If you choose the bar-height footrail or wooden riser accessories, the table is 42 inches tall from floor to the top of the table top.



For width of the table top, it can either be 36 or 48 inches wide, depending on the table top you choose.



The width of the the table base (the barrel itself) is 26 inches at the widest part.

How are the table tops secured to the barrel?

The barrel and table top arrive in two separate pieces.

For the solid oak tops, there are 4 L-brackets that get mounted onto the barrel table base. The table top is then centered on the barrel, and then secured to the brackets. All hardware and instructions are provided for easy assembly. (Or the white-glove delivery team can take care of assembly if desired!)

The glass tops rest upon rubber bumpers inserts in the barrel. This provides good resistance to the table shifting.

Can I move the table again after it's put together?

Absolutely! The table top is simple to take off so that you can easily move the base and top through doorways and into another room.

What size stools work best?

The barrel pub tables sit at 36 inches tall, which is considered "counter-height". (Same height as a standard kitchen counter or island.) Therefore "counter-height stools", which are between 24-26 inches tall pair perfectly with the tables!

If you add our "Barrel Risers" or "Bar-Height Footrail to the barrel, these options bring the table to bar height of 42-inches. So in those cases you would want "bar-height" stools, which are between 28-33 inches tall. 

How many stools can fit around the table?

The 36" oak table tops can typically sit up to 4 people around. The 48" size can sit up to 6 people around! 

I'm debating between a 36 and 48-inch table top. Which would you recommend?

If you have the room in your space for either size, I typically say that the 36 inch size is great for sitting around and sharing some drinks, snack, and conversation. 

The 48 inch size opens up more space under the table top for you to sit underneath, opening up some more room for you to enjoy a meal or some card games round!

How long does it take to deliver an order?
